Travel Awards for KU Chemistry Graduate Students


Award Opportunities

The Craig Lunte International Travel Award will be used to support graduate students in the Chemistry Department with awards for pursuit of international scholarly activities, such as attending an international conference, workshop or internship.

Qualifications: 
1.    KU Chemistry graduate student with an outstanding record of achievement
2.    Conducting research in bioanalytical chemistry (broadly defined) as recommended by his/her faculty mentor
3.    Student must be an author or coauthor of an accepted presentation, either oral or poster, to obtain the award for a conference

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and can be completed using the form below.

Named in honor of Dr. Don Leedy (a former University of Kansas graduate student who worked Ralph Adams) and the late Prof. Ted Kuwana (Distinguished Professor in Chemistry, University of Kansas), this fund supports travel grants of up to $1000 for analytical graduate students in the University of Kansas Chemistry Department. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and can be completed using the form below.
